Events in White Rock No One Should Miss

Since Sunday is the official first day of the week, what better place to start than at the world famous White Rock Farmers Market, located in Miramar Village Square, just off Russell and Johnston Streets.

Since 1999, this market has sold a veritable cornucopia of home grown and home produced goods, every Sunday, from Father’s Day to Thanksgiving.

A visit to the market is a must for…well…anyone who wants…well…anything! Imagine the aromas that await. There are freshly baked organic breads for sale, alongside gourmet sauces, fruits and vegetables of every conceivable variety. Vendors offer freshly caught halibut, wild salmon and shrimp (in season), and home grown cuts of beef are also on offer. If you’re not hungry, have a look at the hand thrown pottery, exotic soaps, potions, oils, jewellery, artwork and even designer hats on display.
